Facts You Did Not Know About Pocahontas
1. In other cases, did you know that Pocahontas was based on a real life story? Almost everything in the Disney movie is real! Which even includes the characters as well. Accept the love between John Smith & Pocahontas and Pocahontas's animal friends.
2. Another fact is that John Smith was actually a few years older than Pocahontas!! Due to the big gap of age, Pocahontas was not in love with John Smith. Although there were rumours saying that Pocahontas had a crush on John Smith.
3. Pocahontas really did married John Rolfe!! Just like in the movie!! ROFL!!!
4. Neytiri's character from Avatar was actually influenced by Pocahontas character!!

This was one of my favourite scenes of the movie!! So, enjoy! :)
I rather die tomorrow, than live a hundreds years without knowing you.
When we were much younger, we would always ask our parents to send us to school. Or either the shopping mall or to your friend's house. And once we're done, we would call them to fetch us back.
Few years down the road, when we're much older, we get the chance to drive our very first car, our parents car.
Then, when University life starts, we'll start to whine to our parents about getting our own car. We'll think that our own friends who owns a car are lucky and rich. We'll think it's cool to own a car. We'll sometimes showoff to our friends that we can 'fetch' them anywhere they want.
***
That's what you think. I once thought it was cool to own a car of my own. Since after all, it is convenient for us to go anywhere we want at anytime.
I realize that it's not fun at all.
Drive to college.
Park car.
Drive back from college.
Park car.
Sent mom to work.
Drive back home.
Park car.
Fetch mom from work.
Drive back home.
Park car.
I realized it's really annoying sometimes. This may only be one day but imagine doing that for 10 or 20 years of our life? Just like our parents did. Fetching us in and out daily.
So, the next time you want to complain about your parent's fetching you late, please think again. Don't rush them either, they would end up in an accident. If unlucky, we will never get to see them again.
I sacrificed my bonus salary just to volunteer for Wesak Day. I was helping out my group, D2YC. They were organizing a major environmental clean up project on Wesak Day. Helpers were urgently needed on that day. Thus, with mixed feelings, I reluctantly went to Buddhist Maha Vihara at 10am. The things I do for friendship and saving the earth :(
Well, recycling is my kind of thing. It's in my blood.
The temple was crowded like mad! The canteen was even crowded!! Thousands of people queuing up to get free food!
Thus, my job was to look out for people whom will be throwing polystyrene food containers into the rubbish bin, and I have to exchange plastic bags once it's filled up. Sounds boring isn't it? Yes, it is. Especially on this freaking hot day! Sweating like nobody's business!
However, to make my job more interesting, I collect rubber bands (which it is used to wrap the polystyrene food container) and open up polystyrene containers to save spaces. I sat on a chair(near the box) when there's nothing much to do.
I was doing okay until this security guard walk up to me and ask me whether I'm local. And, he said, I look like an Indonesian rubbish collector lady.
!%@^&@$!@%#
Sometimes I thought it was my wrong, to have left you. But I never doubt my decision.
Either you hate me for leaving you, or you're just too childish to even understand. But I was glad I made that decision.
So, here you go.
Happy Birthday, you son of a bitch!
I found this sentence on a web to be really true.
"
Real Buddhism is very tolerant and not concerned with labels like 'Christian', 'Moslem', 'Hindu' or 'Buddhist'; that is why there have never been any wars fought in the name of Buddhism. That is why Buddhists do not preach and try to convert, only explain if an explanation is sought.
Something tells me that I'm really suitable to be a Buddhist.

Pizza Hut's salary is not that high. RM4 per hour and a free staff meal is all it takes for a worker to get through his day. Their salary, sometimes can be as low as RM1,300 per month for a full-time worker. That is not enough to feed a family!
Some of the staff have no choice to work there, as they do not have the education or skills to have a higher paid job. Some of them were even expelled from school.
But, not all is bad. And guess what? The guy who had flunk his SPM 3 years ago turns out to be my Shift Manager today!
You must be wondering, why would a University student, like me be doing in a fast food restaurant? There are plenty of other jobs which provides higher and better salary than this, no?
Well, I think that
money is not that important, the most important thing is that I like the things that I'm doing.

The staff are really nice, sometimes. Although, there are conflicts between employees sometimes, ended up me being the 'middle' person. I blend well with most of the workers, being the only Chinese worker there.
Sometimes, customers can be very bias and racist towards the waitress/waiter there. After finding out I am a Chinese waitress, some customers' starts to 'demand' more things from me. Expecting me to give them BIGGER portion of their pasta, their drinks filled to the rim and even multiple drink refills till no end!!

However, if there is one thing that I will remember and cherish in the future, it will be the time when all our morning shift staff (consisting of different races) sat down and ate rice together on a labour's day, Sunday morning. Laughing, talking and sharing the joy together as one.
I miss blogging. Seriously.
There's so many things I wanna write. There's so many things I wanna tell.
It's just that, time is not on my side now.
The only person I can talk to about my feelings and everything, is my diary.

Please give me time.
