Just recently started a new job as a waitress in a cafe. They are paying RM6 per hour, which is quite a descent salary for part-timers. This is the 6th day I have been working there.
This is an one and only cafe in whole Malaysia. Thus, there are 5 boss (foreigners) who are in charge of this cafe!!! That's like, HOLY CRUTZ?!
Compared to Pizza Hut, the working environment here is so much different than Pizza Hut. At first, I find it quite hard to cope with the change of environment on my first day of work, but than I got used to it and I fell in love with it!!
The reason why I like the environment here is because they provide so much freedom for the workers here!! They can do what they want to do, as long as they WORK. It is less systematic, thus workers can work in their own comfortable way. They can make their own drinks, but not the so-very-expensive-ones. All the waitress/waiters are the cashier themselves. Compared to Pizza Hut, the cashier is only in charge of withdrawing/exchanging money, other workers are not allowed to do any cashing out.
Another reason I like working here is because of the workers. They know when to work, and when to play. They know what and whom to prioritize first. They are willing to teach and help when you ASK THEM. My boss and managers here are very much caring and nice.
Hygiene and cleanliness is above average. Not much of the cleaning is needed. I do not need to wash plates, cups, and cutleries anymore. Yay!! :D
Lastly, more tips and better uniform!!! :D Ngeh! Ngeh!
Thus, there are more things that I actually like, but I am just too lazy to write it all in detail.
I think......

There were a lot of things I wanted to write about this post, but words itself is not enough to express my love towards D2Y.
Hence, I would like to thank D2Y for giving me this wonderful experience to experience it all. Being a 'sexytary', a day manager and a group facilitator taught me a lot of things, which money itself can't buy.
Being with you people made me realize what it means to meet true Kalyana Mitras. And remember what we have shared during the 2nd committee meeting at SABS? Where we shared the goals on what we wanna achieve at the end of the camp?
Haha... I remembered that clearly, which was to get to know every committee as a friend, and not only as a D2Y committee. :)
But, there's something else which I didn't get a chance to say it...
I think I had just fallen in love with you, D2Y. :)
Sprained my ankle last week during a game of badminton.
The saddest part is, I have to watch people play during the last 30 minutes of the badminton match.
Not sure of the reason how I sprained it. Might be due to the lack of warm-up, or the stunts I did was too extreme =.=
And, not forgetting the people who made my injury 'feel' better... :D
Well.... sort of?
I liked how kennysia did his birthday post most of the time, so I thought of doing the same thing. So, that I would be able to look back on what I've achieved while I was 18 :p
18 things I did while I was 18...

Just when my motivation to study came creeping back to me, I came across this motivational video from Carmen's Facebook wall. And it really gave me a FULL blast of motivation to study after watching this 2 videos.
I recommend anyone who's seeking for success, to watch this. And while you're watching it, please do be mindful and reflect on your actions.
I find that black people are really amazing people, especially those who takes part in choir activities in church. As far as I know, they're really outgoing people. I'm not being racist here, but they're really good.
It's not easy to do something when I'm feeling down. However, with the help of this video, I'm gonna watch it every single time when I'm feeling worthless. And I think it can do the same to you too. :)
