I must be in a dreamland by now. My thoughts were all wondering off to a faraway land. So far, that I can see fairies giggling and floating everywhere in my head. It feels like heaven.

"Erh, sir, is there anything I can do for you?"

Something snapped in my head and I was back to reality. From where I stand, in front of the counter, looking straight ahead at the lady behind the counter, looking at me curiously.

A man entered the shop. Trying to dry himself from the heavy rain.

I was dumbstruck. I stood there, trying to think what to do next. I need to think of something, and fast!

I saw a box of mentos. Somehow, my body automatically react to that stupid box of mentos. I grab the mentos and lean against the counter, surprisingly, the lady stood still, looking at me calmly. Watching my every move.

"I was wondering, is there any discount for this little box of mentos. It seems not many people buy these stuff these days," I said sarcastically.

The lady look at me awkwardly. Speechless.

*Ahem*

I look at the back. A big size man was waiting impatiently for his turn to come. I turned back and look at the lady again. Scared out of my wits.

"Oh, okay, forget it. I'll just take this box of mentos," I said quickly.

And, after paying it, I went straight towards the Exit. Just by then, the rain slowly came to a stop, and the people walking on the streets were seen again.

Oh, well. I guess this is the first and the last time I'll be seeing that lady in that shop again, as I took a deep breath and start my journey back home once again.

But I guess...

I was wrong.

The next day was another hectic day at work again.

My boss wanted me to work on an very important project before the deadline which was tomorrow. Thus, staying back at the office alone. The project was driving me crazy!!! It drives me to the edge, that I wanted to jump down the building and just DIE!!

I was the only one left at the office, even the workers already left. Surrounded by all the works around my table.

It was 1am. I took a small break and went out from the office to find something to drink. But, the only shop I could think of was that 7-Eleven shop that I went yesterday.

Suddenly, remembering the lady at the counter. Maybe I can have the chance to see her again? And maybe I can know what's her name?!

I slapped myself. What am I doing?! I'm suppose to get a cup coffee and get back to work!!

Okay, this work is just getting into me, I thought to myself before entering the shop.

I headed straight towards the coffee booth, not even dare to look who was the person standing at the counter. I took a small sip of the coffee and took it to the counter to pay.

Well, as to say. I found myself feeling disappointed to see a different person at the counter.

I try to act normal and asked the person at the counter about the lady I saw yesterday.

Oh, you mean Chloe," the fat women said rudely while counting the cash,"why...she just left after her shift just 10 minutes ago."

Disappointed, I took my coffee and left the shop. Walking back towards my office.

Well, so called bad luck today, huh?

I wasn't looking where I was walking.

When, something else happen...

"Ouch!"

I found myself lying face down on the pavement. My cup of coffee twirling around, with the drink all splattered on the floor. There goes my cup of coffee.

"Oh, I'm sorry sir. Are you okay? I'm really really sorry...,"said a voice somewhere in my head.

I got up and brush my shirt. Argh!!! Coffee stains!!!

"Here, take my handkerchief."

I was now, staring at a white lace handkerchief on a very small pair of hands. I took a glance at the person and to my amazement.

It was the counter lady, Chloe!

I was dumbfounded for a moment.

"Sir? Sir? Are you okay?"

I found back the words I wanted to say,"I'm fine. Thanks."

"Oh, thank goodness. I thought I would get into trouble," she sigh.

"Do you remember who am I," suddenly I asked.

"Erh...no sir...I'm sorry...," she apologised.

Huh? How can a girl whom I just met yesterday forgets? I thought to myself. Maybe she had a short term memory problem or so.

"But aren't you Chloe," I asked feeling confuse of the whole situation.

"Oh, I'm sorry," she apologise again and continues,

"I'm not Chloe."

It was the day I met her. That change everything in my life. Even the smallest fraction that can't be repaired, or even the biggest mistake that happen in my miserable life. It was a lesson I've learnt, very precious but yet heart breaking in the end. But, it gave me a new hope in life. Living every single day to the fullest. Untill the day, I can be reunited with her.


Foot steps echoed in my head on the busy streets. Cars started jamming up the narrow road, on their way home from work. The sky roared with thunders. It smells like it was going to rain any sooner.

I was on my way home from work. A ruitine of my everyday life. A hectic day after work. It's good to be home, watching TV, a nice hot shower and a short nap.

It started raining heavily. Darn, I've forgotten to bring my umbrella. Somehow, this reminds me of my mom nagging at me to always bring an umbrella when walking to school. Ahh, those were the days. I'm now living alone, so I guess I have no one to remind me by then.

Drench in the rain, I scanned around my surroundings, trying to find an available shelter. Neither way, all the stores were packed fulled of people.

Then....

...a miracle thing happen as God answered my prayer...

Right in front of me, stood a '7-Eleven' convenience store. Halleluyah! I screamed in my head.
The store was so lighten up brightly, that it looks like I was running towards to heaven!

Funny, as you can say. I was the only person there. But, who cares anyway?! I got the whole place to myself!

I started feeling hungry. I read the time on my watch. It was nearly touching to 7.30pm and it was already pitch black outside.

I started to scanned the whole rows of neatly arranged snack foods, seeing if anything catches my eyes.

Suddenly, I just remembered one of those delicious crackers I used to love to eat. I started searching the whole store for that mouth watering crispy crackers. I must have them!!!

After 30 minutes of searching every single crackers in the store. I gave up. There wasn't any crackers I want.

I saw a young lady at the cashier counter. I wonder if she knows any of the crackers I want are sold here.

I walk up to the counter and was greeted by the most beautiful smile I ever saw.

That was when...

I met her.

"Good evening, can I help you?"

Yesterday went to Si Ting's house with Sara.

And was entertained by Si Ting's brother, Tommy with his magic tricks. Kinda improve alot I guess. Can't see the mistake tricks he made with the coin. He's a cool magician I guess, charming to girls, but not to me. Too bad Tommy ^^

Then Si Ting teach me & Sara how to dance. I keep fooling around. The moves were hard to master but we just learn it for fun.

It takes us about 30minutes to stop fooling around and take things seriously. I was laughing to most, and thus...got sore throat =="

After 2 hours later, we rested awhile. Then Sara and me try to catch up with Si Ting's dancing moves.

It was ultimately awesome. But I was so lazy to dance but she make me dance...LOL...

Well, she's very gifted in dancing. She likes dancing. So, I can say, she can be very successful in life, I guess.

Can't see what I'm gifted in...Drawing? Nah...I anyhow draw also can get A1 d..==

It was fun dancing. I anyhow, simply dance d...lol...

Then after that, WE WATCH HORROR MOVIE DVD'S!! MUAHAHAHAHA!!! I LOVE IT!!!

Sara was like, "I'm not scared of watching horrow movies".

THEN IN THE END, SHE WAS like...COVERING HER EYES!!! MUAHAAHAAHAHA...chicken la..LOL

She end up sleeping with her mother that night. But she still couldn't sleep. LOL...

== serious...it wasn't that scary..it only made me laugh a few clips and make my heart beat faster....LOL...

Si Ting and Tommy tried to scared us by purposely screaming during the climaks of the show...it didn't work for me...LOL...but it work for Sara though...muahahhaa!!!

It was 6pm in the evening, workers and working people started making their way back home after a hectic day at work

A women in her 40's was humming her way towards the driver seat of her little small Kelisa car. Wasting no time by throwing her bag to the passengers back seat and getting the car into gear before zooming off from the Dentist Shop.

Not before long when she reached to the main road, cars speeding off towards to the only place they want to be, home.

Can't wait to be home, watching TV, relaxing, sitting down on the sofa, the women take her sweet time on the wheels, the radio playing 'Home' by Chris Doughtry.

All of a sudden, it was a quiet and peacful evening when a full blast of vibration hitted the silver car screen.

Wham! Wham! Wham! Goes the music.

On the opposite site of her car, was a normal looking brown Proton Saga. Playing the music in full blast!!! 

The driver seems to be a young looking man in his 20's. With a good looking red sticker, P. And he doesn't look happy at all.

He horned her. And overtook her car. Right now, driving in front and ahead of her.

She doesn't seemed to be bothered by the honk at all. Ignoring him instead. She looks at the clock timer. Oh my! It was 6.30pm. Her show is going to start in 5 minutes time! She puts on gear and gains speed. Gaining up onto the Proton Saga. Arh darn, what's with the bown car in front of me, blocking my way.

She sat up straight in her seat, pushed her glasses up, put on her right signal and press slightly hard on the pedals, overtaking the brown Saga.The little small car zoomed pass the brown Saga.

"What the...?" goes the man.

"Overtaking me?! Hmph! No elderly women overtakes me!!" He scoffs and puts on to his gear and pressed hard onto the pedals, overtaking the women, again.

"Argh!" She looks at the time. 6.32pm.

At the same time, the same car was blocking her way, again! The brown car brakes, trying to scare the wits out of the women. Luckily she slowed down before her car could bang the little idiot brown car.

"What's with the driver man?!" She cursed.

On the other hand, the man looks at his rear view mirror, feeling satisfied and continues to drive on.

Before he knew it, the small Kelisa car drove up beside him. The women looked at him and he stares back at her, looking surprised.

She gave him a very big smile, showing her newly fixed denture teeth with 4 missing tooths at the right side.

The man freaked out and screams like a sissy girl and the women speeds off in her small Kelisa car.

And you know what was the best thing is?

The women was my mom.
